UNIVERSAL ORLANDO RESORT
Seasonal | Event Guide (Mar 2018 - Present)
Event Operations Guide executes special events throughout Universal Orlando Resort. The guide assists with arrivals and check-in of event guests, facilitates movement of groups throughout the resort to include transportation, provide overall itinerary information and assistance to special event guests maintaining boundaries of event, distributing materials as required, helping with on-site needs of event guests.

I have provided support for shows including The Nighttime Lights At Hogwarts Castle and Universal Orlando's Cinematic Celebration.

I assisted with many projects at Universal Studios and have received numerous written commendations. In 2019, I helped with the "How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World" video booth in the park. For each session, I acted as Director while park guests were my Talent. I shot this with multiple cameras and green screen.

During the 2020-2021 holiday season and pandemic year, I was able to assist at Universal Orlando Resort in many other capacities including Park Services and Attraction Operations. I worked many ride venues including:

• The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man
• Jurassic Park River Adventure
• The Incredible Hulk Coaster
• Hogwarts Express (both King's Cross Station and Hogsmeade Station)
• Skull Island: Reign of Kong
• The Simpsons Ride
• Transformers: The Ride 3D
• Fast & Furious - Supercharged

February 2021: Accepted the position of Guest Experience Coordinator. This is a temporary assignment relating to the global pandemic. GEST (Guest Experience Support Team) is responsible for assisting park guests with proper CDC guidelines in relation to Covid-19 policies. The primary duty is to act as an ambassador for Universal Orlando Resort by communicating, encouraging, and assisting Guests with Covid-19 safety related protocols. A GEST Team Member must be comfortable interacting with large groups of people, speaking on a microphone and must exemplify Universal Orlando’s core values and The Universal Way in all Guest and Team Member interactions.

After the pandemic following first round of public vaccinations, I went back to working seasonally with the Events team beginning in the summer 2021. I have helped other departments and locations in need during this recovery period assisting in security detail (checkpoint for metal detection and baggage x-ray scan) and food & beverage (had fun first time working in a restaurant kitchen).

I auditioned for the Entertainment department then was selected to be both an alternate scare actor and puppeteer for Halloween Horror Nights.

Factoid: I am proud to share my birthday with horror genre icons Vincent Price and Sir Christopher Lee (May 27) with a nod to Peter Cushing (May 26).

#HHN30 My primary scare role was in the haunted house 'Puppet Theatre - Captive Audience'
  • Balloon handler for Universal’s Holiday Parade Featuring Macy’s
  • Parade escort for Universal's Mardi Gras Parade
  • Parade specialist for Universal’s SuperStar Parade

My first experience with Universal Studios was in Hollywood at the young age of six. The tour and shows left an indelible impression on me. I hoped then that someday I'd have a working connection to the film industry.

While on the Walt Disney World College Program, I first visited Universal Studios Florida 110 days after the park initially opened in 1990.
