This page features some of my involvement with community and non-profit organizations (Boy/Girl Scouts, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Delaware Aero Space Education Foundation's Family Day, Delaware First Lego League competition, 'Pay It Forward' day, school career days, Delaware Association for Children of Alcoholics, Friends of Brandywine Hundred Library, Annual Entrepreneurial Women's Expo, Relay for Life of American Cancer Society, … just to name a few).

2010

May 26, 2010 (7-8:30 PM) - WMPH recording club sets up microphones and digital recorder at Springer Middle School. Legendary American composer and arranger James Swearingen debuts a newly written song "Joyance!" performed for the first time by the Springer Middle School band as a favor to friend and school music teacher Bob Baronio. WMPH later edits the concert and produces a mastered CD for the school.

2009

October 30, 2009 - WMPH was greeted by the Dark Side. Who knew dance music is popular with the Sith?
October 23, 2009 - WMPH was honored for our 40th anniversary during the Mount Pleasant Hall of Fame reception. WMPH founders Jesse Morris (left) and Bob Huber from the Class of 1968 were interviewed on the radio and later inducted into the Hall of Fame the same day.
WMPH was an exhibitor for the Concord High School (upper) Career Expo on October 6 and the Brandywine High School (lower) Career Expo on October 12, 2009.
September 23, 2009 - WMPH is represented at the 2009 National Association of Broadcasters Radio Show in Philadelphia. Clint Dantinne (pictured above by red arrow), was in the publicity shot featured in the NAB October newsletter. [PDF]

June 28, 2009 - On ACTION NEWS (WPVI Philadelphia) channel 6 for leading a protest against a music performance tax. [VIDEO]
June 16, 2009 - The News Journal ran a front page story on the WMPH boycott of 2007 and our stand against a performance tax.
June 10, 2009 - This Associated Press story went all over the United States in every major newspaper. Notice the line "A Delaware radio station boycotted all artists affiliated with musicFIRST for an entire month." This refers directly to the WMPH 91.7 FM boycott of 2007
June 8, 2009 - Clint Dantinne went to jail. This was a donation gimmick to raise "bail money" providing help and hope to kids and adults served by the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

WMPH was a media sponsor for the November 28, 2006 GET MOTIVATED! seminar at the Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmington. Speaking in order of appearance were Keith A. Craft, self-made billionaire Bill Bartmann (pictured lower left w/ Clint Dantinne), Tim Timmons, Phil Town, Jennifer Azzi, Tom Hopkins, George Ross, and boxing champion George Foreman.

WMPH DANCEfest 2006 held at Baxter's Club in Wilmington on November 18 was a huge success. Performing LIVE on stage were Georgie Porgie, Kristy Kay, Kathy Phillips, Rachel Panay, Pepper Mashay, Drea, Gia 7, Ohsha Kai, Fredrick Ford, and Giorgio. Spinning LIVE were legendary DJs John Kano, Giuseppe D, and Ray Devine.

WMPH hosted DANCEfest 2005 on June 11 at Kahunaville. Performances included: Richard J. Dalton, Dom Armano, Dare2B Difrent, Nancy Yvonne (of Boulevard East), QED, Aubrey, and Georgie Porgie.
